The second week is "Peace."
The second Sunday of Advent is associated with peace, representing the peace that Jesus brings and the anticipation of the Prince of Peace. It is a time to focus on finding inner peace, as well as praying for peace in the world, remembering the journey of Mary and Joseph to Bethlehem. The candle lit on the second Sunday, often called the Bethlehem Candle, symbolizes this hope for peace on Earth after the divisions of the Old Testament.
